Station "Vulcanus" was built several decades ago as part of a global initiative to study volcanic activity and mitigate its dangerous consequences. However, following a series of unsuccessful experiments and financial difficulties, the station was abandoned, leaving behind a skeleton of forgotten knowledge and technology.

The surroundings of the station are a blend of harsh beauty and threatening silence. Hidden under moss and creeping plants are remnants of complex scientific instruments and equipment. The walls of the research laboratories and observation posts are cracked and covered with lichens, and the window panes are shattered or fogged by time.

Inside, the building is permeated with an atmosphere of abandoned research and lost hopes. Especially striking is the main control room, where scientists once monitored volcanic activity. Huge, now non-functional monitors, control panels covered in notes and maps, seem to be frozen in anticipation of someone to bring them back to life.

The station is surrounded by impenetrable forest, hiding wild animals and rare plants. On the slopes of the volcano, one can encounter hot springs and fumaroles, reminders that the volcano is still capable of awakening.
